Description
-
The Gen>NEXTer will be a part of the Technical Planning/Engineering team and work alongside the team members in different projects and areas during this rotation.
-
Main objectives will be to support existing vehicle Production processes as well as new model industrialization.
-
Other tasks may include, but not limited to: design, project management, digitalization, excel macro, process cycle time and adherence, etc.
-
Concept and Development of process layouts, equipment and tooling design, and process steps.
-
Participate in Design reviews of new model tooling.
-
Process evaluation for overall Production output – cycle time and availability.
-
Project management and supplier management.
-
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Major: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering

Willingness to learn
-
Team player mindset.
-
Self-driven to push projects and tasks forward.
-
Good Communication skills.
-
Problem Solving / Analytical skills.
-
Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
-
MS Office knowledge required.
-
Basic CAD knowledge (preferred Catia).
-
Preferred but not mandatory: Excel macro, Sharepoint, Apex, etc.
-
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
-
Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
-
Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
-
Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
-
Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
-
Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
-
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term

THE WORK TERM DATES ARE August 10th – Dec. 11th, 2026.

Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations.
