Description:
-
Support in planning and realization of quality equipment and quality processes for a next gen battery production line
-
Supports with project evaluations by identifying/capturing gaps, dependencies, resources, risk and financial impacts.
-
Coordinates, procures, implements and/or provides technical support for new equipment installation and investment projects (new model, structure, and plant small projects).
-
Supports contractor activities in engineering, installation, commissioning, documentation, and sign-off of new equipment projects.
-
Supports quality checks and prepares quality documentation
-
Supports with maintaining project cost targets and budget forecasts.
-
Collaborates with medium/large projects and/or self-initiates projects for continuous improvement relating to structure and/or process.
-
Supports battery plant targets and goals: production, quality, safety, cost, associate, and citizenship.

Obtains and shares best practice solutions within the BMW Group network.
Qualifications:

Organizational & project management skills
-
Communication & facilitation skills
-
Strength in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
-
Technical background (e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering) preferable
-
MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
-
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
-
Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
-
Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
-
Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
-
Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
