Description:
-
Encourage the cooperation and alignment between business functions and IT Teams with project management
elements. -
Identify, specify and implement process changes in the business collaboration.
-
Focus on bringing continuous improvement within a department of roughly 80 IT specialists according to agile principles (or lean management).
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the in the following functions:
-
Project Management: Support for project planning, steering, and coordination.
-
Manage small projects individually (see below) including documentation, evaluating, problem solving, and reporting.
-
Help identify, design, and implement internal process improvements (agile/lean).
-
Create presentations and communication documents using Corporate Identity standards.
-
Support major projects spanning over the whole plant (Inbound Strategy and Vehicle Launch projects).
-
Lead smaller projects (depending on applicants’ preference and availability).
-
Logistics and SAP(or equivalent ERP system) knowledge
Qualifications:
-
Candidate should be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or similar field.
-
Demonstrated written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
-
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint).
-
Analytical mind that is open to innovative ideas.
-
Ideally with some IT background.
-
German skills are advantageous.
-
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the US grading scale
-
Must be enrolled at a university outside of the United States.
-
Must have completed a prior BMW internship of at least 3 months in length.
-
Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
-
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
-
Work terms dates are from September 21, 2026, to March 5, 2027.

Must provide the following paperwork in English.

Last University Performance Record.

Relevant references and certificates (not required).
