Description

  • The Prüfcubing process uses a specially machined car body to evaluate the buildability, geometric fit, function and overall maturity of interior and exterior parts during and after a new model launch.

  • The Prüfcubing is a highly visible part of a new model launch and works together with several departments including Development, Assembly and Supplier Quality.

  • Primary responsibility will be to support all facets of a Prüfcubing Loop including planning, hardware preparation, problem documentation and root cause analysis.

  • After each loop, the co-op will support the TX-52 Product Integration teams, following problems identified in the cubing though the problem solving process.

  • Preparing Parts and Tooling for the Day’s Build.

  • Validating the quality level of the parts delivered for the Cubing Loop.

  • Clear and Concise documentation of the defects found during the Cubing loop.

  • Containment tracking for critical defects found during the cubing loop.

Qualifications

  • Major: Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering

  • Good Communication and technical writing Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Power point

  • Self-Motivated and able to work independently

  • German Language Skills(preferred)

  • Experience with CAD Software(preferred)

  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).

  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.

  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).

  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE Aug 10th Dec 11th, 2026.

  • Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations.
