About this role

Black Rock is a leading global asset management firm. It provides investment, risk management, and advisory services to institutional, intermediary, and individual investors worldwide. The company offers solutions ranging from fundamental and quantitative active management to indexing strategies for broad market exposure. Clients can access these solutions through individual and institutional accounts, mutual funds, and i Shares® ETFs.

The Portal Service Team is a new sub-team within the Client Order Management function.

The team is the first contact for Black Rock and Third Party Clients using our online tools to submit trades. They guide clients through onboarding and provide live service support. The team works closely with internal Black Rock groups and external parties. They ensure timely setup so clients can start trading. Using Aladdin technology, they deliver excellent client service via email and phone, handling ad-hoc requests.

The Associate will perform various tasks mainly related to onboarding and service oversight for Fund Trading using the online system. They will help establish the foundation for this growing area and collaborate with other support groups to offer technical assistance and excellent client service. Besides providing adaptable support within the team, they will also take part in ongoing project efforts.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Work in close partnership with the Business teams to educate and onboard clients onto the online platforms.

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and handling of a large amount of client data.

  • Enrich and validate data population within the back-office trading systems to ensure smooth operating function.

  • Deliver a world-class client experience through front-line service to clients and related third parties. This includes fielding and responding to client queries via email and phone using Aladdin technology.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients for communication of investment instructions and application offerings.

  • Understand the end-to-end client support process, coordinating with internal and external teams to resolve client enquiries.

  • Provide oversight of all trading activities that pass through the Aladdin Fund Trading infrastructure, resolving any technology or data issues that prevent the transmission of client trades.

Our hybrid work model
