About this role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineering Leader with a strong background in**.NET**,React/TypeScript, and a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams.

The VP will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering e Front Insight Core, our flagship Private Markets data and analytics platform. This platform is central to our Data Collection business and increasingly leverages AI and GenAI technologies to deliver smarter insights, automation, and enhanced user experiences.

As part of Black Rock’s e Front division, you will drive innovation in Private Markets technology, lead strategic initiatives, and mentor engineering squads to achieve excellence in software delivery and AI adoption.

Technologies and Concepts involved:

  • C# / .NET

  • React / TypeScript

  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Services

  • Cloud-First applications, micro-services architecture (AKS)

  • AI/ML integration for data enrichment, predictive analytics, and automation

  • GenAI modules for intelligent document processing and conversational interfaces

Additional beneficial experience:

  • Python (for AI/ML workflows)

  • Elasticsearch

  • Azure CosmosDB

  • Azure Service Bus

  • Kubernetes

  • Familiarity with AI frameworks(Tensor Flow, Py Torch) or Azure AI services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams and squads, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.

  • Drive the design and delivery of AI-enhanced features, leveraging GenAI and ML models to improve data quality, automate workflows, and deliver predictive insights.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of SaaS product development, including production monitoring, incident resolution, and performance optimization on cloud platforms.

  • Define and enforce best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and scalable architecture.

  • Partner with product and business stakeholders to align technology strategy with Private Markets industry trends and client needs.

  • Champion AI adoption across engineering processes, including code generation, testing automation, and intelligent data pipelines.

Crucial Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least3+ years in leadership roles (team lead, squad lead, or project manager).

  • Deep expertise in C#/.NET and React/TypeScript; Python experience is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and Azure services.

  • Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions at scale.

  • Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise applications; familiarity with GenAI concepts is highly valued.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across technical and business teams.

Our hybrid work model
