This role sits within Preqin, a part of Black Rock. Preqin plays a key role in how we are revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the whole portfolio.

Job Overview

This is a leadership role in our Investor Data team. This role will be responsible for aiding in the future growth and development of the team’s internal and external services as well as assisting with the ongoing development of the team members. This is achieved through operational excellence and clear day-to-day maintenance of the dataset & content, including core business-as-usual (BAU) tasks and going above and beyond to collaborate, innovate and execute on relevant ad-hoc projects to improve the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of data. The individual is also responsible for people management to create a high-performing team. Collaboration with the sales and product teams will be key to achieving the above.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that data collected by the team is of high quality and meets client expectations
  • Implement practices to improve quality measurement and feedback processes
  • Provide comprehensive and individualized reporting on the core KPIs for the team
  • Look for ways to optimize operations and find new opportunities to upskill team bringing efficiencies
  • Lead the day-to-day development of the team, ensuring effective training, adherence to protocols, and maintaining team motivation
  • Collaborate with product teams and data governance units to align methodologies

You are a good fit if:

  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in data/financial data services/alternative assets
  • Ability to craft, build, manage project, and report on quality holistically
  • Hands-on, motivational, and entrepreneurial leadership style
  • Experience in people and project management, including remote management
  • Consistent record in performance management and building high-performing teams
  • Strong operational management skills in a data organization, with attention to detail
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills for developing and improving quality processes
  • Experience with change management in quality and training processes
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with high-level executives
  • Proficiency in English for business purposes
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of business intelligence systems like Power BI/Metabase

Our hybrid work model
