We are seeking a Legal Operations Associate to join the Legal Operations team within the Legal & Compliance COO Team. The role will be located in the Atlanta or Princeton Office and will report into the Global Head of Legal Ops and Business Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management:

 Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Reporting:

 Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into legal operations and metrics.

  • Process Improvement:

 Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the legal department.

  • Technology Utilization:

 Leverage legal technology tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity.

  • Project Management:

 Assist in managing legal projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.

  • Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in legal operations and recommend innovative solutions

  • Communication and Collaboration:

work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g., vendors, outside counsel)

Qualifications:

  • Education:

 Bachelor's degree

  • Experience:

 5+ years of experience in legal operations, project management, or a similar role.

  • Skills:

 Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in legal technology tools and software, specifically experience with Counsel Link E-billing platform preferred. Highly proficient in excel.

  • Attributes:

 Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Skills:

  • Proficient with all word products with an emphasis on Excel functionality

  • Experience using Counsel Link E-billing platform is preferred

  • Strong Problem-solving and critical thinking

  • Strong Organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently but understand when to escalate issues

For Princeton, NJ and Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD**$95,000.00** - USD**$127,500.00** . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. Black Rock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model

Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
