About the role:

As a Systems Engineer SAP BTP Administration (m/w/d), you will act as BioNTech's technical expert for the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring its seamless operation, governance, and continuous improvement. You will oversee key services such as Integration Suite, Workzone, Task Center, and Build Process Automation while managing identity and access through SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and Sail Point IAM integration. Additionally, you will support the stable operation of S/4HANA in the SAP Private Cloud (ECS) environment and collaborate with internal teams and external providers to maintain platform reliability, security, and integration across the SAP ecosystem.

Your Contribution:

• Govern BTP accounts, entitlements, and services (e.g., Integration Suite, Workzone); ensure secure, scalable platform operations as the central BTP technical owner

• Manage end-to-end user lifecycle via SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and support Sail Point IAM integration for secure role provisioning and compliance

• Monitor system health via SAP Cloud ALM; analyze alerts, track incidents, and provide operational support for SAP Cloud Native landscapes

• Oversee AWS infrastructure topics within the SAP context (e.g., EC2/S3 instances); coordinate with infrastructure teams on connectivity solutions like Cloud Connector and Private Link

• Administer Build Process Automation and other BTP services; support configuration, troubleshooting, and integration into the S/4HANA landscape

• Collaborate with SAP ECS for stable S/4HANA operations in the private cloud environment; handle service requests and change coordination

A Good Match:

• Completed vocational training in IT or higher education in Computer Science or a related field

• Extensive experience (>5 years) in SAP Basis administration with proven expertise in BTP governance and S/4HANA operations in an ECS environment

• Solid knowledge of SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS), SSO concepts, identity lifecycle management; familiarity with Sail Point is a plus

• Experience using SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring and incident management

• Understanding of connectivity technologies (e.g., Cloud Connector) and AWS services (e.g., EC2/S3) in enterprise contexts

• Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving across complex technical challenges
