About This Role:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role within Biogen's Rare Disease Business Unit, focusing on our approved product for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) in Brazil. You will be tasked with proposing and implementing innovative marketing strategies and tactical plans, ensuring alignment across local, regional, and global functions. Your efforts will be directed towards developing a comprehensive Rare Disease marketing strategy, optimizing the patient journey, and preparing the ecosystem for SMA. Serving as a key facilitator, you will drive the execution of marketing strategies through collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams. By maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders and medical societies, you will ensure our strategies resonate with the external environment. Your leadership will also extend to mentoring and developing internal marketing talent, fostering growth and expertise within the team. This role is instrumental in defining market assumptions, analyzing trends, and contributing to our business objectives and KPIs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies for SMA treatment in Brazil.

  • Collaborate with local, regional, and global functions to harmonize marketing efforts.

  • Lead strategic projects to enhance the patient journey and ecosystem for SMA.

  • Facilitate execution of marketing strategies through sales and cross-functional teams.

  • Support key account management processes with strategic solutions.

  • Define and analyze market assumptions, trends, demands, and sales data.

  • Mentor and develop internal marketing talent through indirect leadership.

  • Maintain strong dialogue with opinion leaders and medical societies in rare diseases.

Your strong communication skills and fluency in multiple languages allow you to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or sciences.

  • Proven experience in a marketing position within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Significant scientific, medical, and/or business management training.

  • Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese is mandatory.

  • Experience in marketing management with global and local teams.

  • Knowledge of market access for products in public and private sectors.

  • Experience in product launches.

  • Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional teams and project management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Fluency in Spanish.

  • Experience working in Rare Diseases.
