As the Senior Director of Store Design and Parts Planning, you’ll shape how millions of customers experience Best Buy stores. You’ll lead the teams that turn big ideas into real, scalable store solutions, connecting strategy, design, engineering, parts planning, and execution. What you’ll do

• Guide store design strategy, including layouts, visual storytelling and customer‑focused experiences
• Ensure design intent translates into scalable, manufacturable solutions through strong partnership with engineering and planning teams
• Oversee parts planning, purchasing and vendor partnerships to support efficient rollout of fixtures, graphics and store experience programs
• Manage budgets and influence investment decisions related to store transformation
• Develop leaders and teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation and operational excellence

Basic qualifications

• 15 years of leadership experience building and developing high‑performing teams
• 10 years of experience designing or delivering experiences or strategies for physical retail, service or customer environments
• Experience influencing executive leadership in large, complex organizations
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, environmental design, UX design, industrial design, business or related field
• Experience in enterprise-scale retail, hospitality or service environments
• Experience integrating customer journey strategy with physical store environments
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in retail (interactive fixtures, digital integrations, smart store environments, etc.)
• Experience with spatial planning tools and modern design collaboration platforms
