Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products in accordance with approved procedures and sampling plans
  • Utilize measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators) to verify conformance to specifications
  • Accurately document inspection and test results in applicable quality systems and records
  • Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials; initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required
  • Execute basic testing activities in accordance with established work instructions and methods
  • Support investigations (e.g., OOS/OOT) and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Maintain laboratory/work area organization and ensure proper handling of equipment and samples
  • Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and quality systems (e.g., GMP, GLP, ISO)
  • Maintain required training, certifications, and ensure audit readiness (FDA, internal, and corporate audits)
  • Support new product introductions, process improvements, and capacity expansion initiatives
  • Contribute to EH&S objectives and overall plant safety performance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment, preferably within a medical device or other regulated industry
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
  • Demonstrated ability to use inspection and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
