Job Description
The Clinical Partnerships & Solutions Director is a strategic leader responsible for building, advancing, and sustaining high value clinical and business partnerships with key Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), health systems, and strategic enterprise customers. This role drives measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes by aligning BD’s integrated clinical solutions, transformation programs, and enterprise capabilities with customer priorities.
This executive serves as the primary clinical partnership leader for top health systems, shaping long term strategic relationships, accelerating clinical and commercial opportunities, and influencing enterprise strategy across BD. This individual will guide system wide clinical transformation, operational excellence, and value creation initiatives that directly contribute to revenue growth, margin expansion, and differentiated clinical outcomes.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Leadership in Clinical Partnerships & Solutions

Serve as the senior BD clinical executive for enterprise‑level customer partnerships, developing multi‑year relationship strategies designed to deliver mutual value.

Influence and cultivate relationships with C‑suite clinical and business leaders to shape decision‑making, co‑create strategy, and drive adoption of BD solutions.

Influence BD’s strategic planning by translating customer needs and clinical trends into forward‑looking solution and capability roadmaps.

Business Impact & Value Creation:

Identify, shape, and accelerate clinical opportunities that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and long‑term value creation.

Partner with Strategic Customer Vice Presidents (SCVPs) and business units to ensure alignment of solution offerings and partnership models.

Support account plans with a focus on measurable ROI, sustainability, and enterprise‑level impact.
3. Cross‑Functional Leadership & Collaboration
-
Lead highly matrixed, cross‑business teams to deliver seamless customer experience and cohesive enterprise engagement.

Serve as a senior integrator across BD, aligning functions including Clinical, Medical Affairs, Marketing, R&D, SCG, and Commercial teams.

Deployment & Operational Excellence:

Oversee enterprise‑scale program deployment, ensuring consistency and standardization with customer engagements.

Co-create and oversee governance frameworks, KPIs, performance dashboards, and feedback loops to track progress, escalate issues, and drive results.

Ensure BD solutions are implemented with discipline, quality, and clear alignment to customer outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education & Credentials:
- Clinical degree required (e.g., RN, PharmD, NP, PA); Master’s or Doctorate strongly preferred (MBA, MHA, MSN, DNP).
Experience Requirements:

12+ years of progressively senior clinical, operational, or transformation leadership experience.

Extensive experience working with or within large health systems/IDNs, including system‑level transformation and enterprise clinical operations.

Minimum 7+ years leading enterprise customer partnerships, strategic accounts, or large‑scale clinical transformation programs.

Proven ability to influence C‑suite executives and drive complex decision‑making across a large matrix organization.
