In this role, you will be responsible for supporting implementation of project specific cost control and reporting procedures, estimating, analysis and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements. You will prepare cost studies, cost trends, and develop and implement project requirements for cost control. Your analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges.Major Responsibilities:
Performs routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities as directed.
Supports the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
Assists with budget allocation, reporting, and cost control for specific construction disciplines or groups of disciplines.
Prepares cost data for proposals and contracts.
Coordinates the development and accuracy of cost reports.
Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and accuracy.
Prepares specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
Investigates requirements for estimating and cost control data.
Collects and classifies cost data.
Performs budget allocation, reporting, and cost control for designated construction disciplines.
Prepares cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Home office experience of minimum 3-5 years is must as a Cost specialist.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors
Demonstrates judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Networks and connects with internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
Minimal supervision with some latitude for judgment
Possesses problem-solving responsibility while working under defined guidelines
May assist less-experienced team members
Skilled in oral and written communication

• Proficiency in domain specific software applications
• Microsoft Office Applications, Ecosys, Power BI for example.
