  Electrical Engineer experience on basic and detailed design and project co-ordination of BESS on CCPP Power, Renewables projects.
  Has a good knowledge of Electrical System and Physical design, the principles, and practices of related technical areas and of coordinating with other technical disciplines. Candidate should have exposure to Indian, US, Euro and other foreign codes/standards and local practices.Major Responsibilities:
  Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews engineering work within a discipline on a project or assignment in a global business unit.
  Supervises the day-to-day technical work of discipline engineers, specialists, designers and drafters.
  Conducts annual performance reviews for direct reports in accordance with the approved procedures and holds career development discussions.
  Prepares or oversees the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly.
  Estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work to meet schedule dates.
  Coordinates with client representatives as delegated to obtain their approval on phases of work.
  Reviews and approves key engineering drawings and calculations, including field and design documents relating to the discipline.
  Coordinates assigned engineering work with other project groups.
  Ensures that engineers supervised receive appropriate on-the-job training for their professional development.
  Promotes the creation of a work environment, assisted by leadership, which fosters directness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A recognized bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical engineering, from an accredited college or university with an overall experience of minimum 12 years.
Site experience will be an added advantage

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Electrical design of battery-based energy storage systems and know-how on its interface with DCS, BMS, EMS and/or SCADA.
Battery and Inverter Sizing.
Aware and develop expertise in fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies and relate them to battery parameters.
Techno-commercial analysis of various technologies.
BESS modeling in ETAP and system studies for CCPP Power, Renewable energy system using BESS.
Prepare FAT and integration test plan for BESS systems. Technical review of documents provided by vendors.
Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations in USA, Australia, Middle East etc.
Client management, team management and process management skills.
Know-how on other electrical Software is an added advantage.
Project Management and Strong interpersonal skills with experience in an international multicultural environment
Due diligence and expertise where you take the lead to review technical documents and installations to determine their compliance.
Project management of bids and projects throughout their life cycle.
