Sr Engineer, Performance Test is responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance tests to ensure that the platform and the applications meet the required performance criteria. This role involves collaborating with development teams, analyzing performance bottlenecks, and providing solutions to enhance system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.

• Strong expertise in Jmeter, Load Runner and Gatling for scripting, scenario design, execution, and analysis.
• Proven experience in end to end Performance Testing (load, stress, endurance, spike) including test planning and execution.
• Solid background in Performance Engineering, including bottleneck identification, tuning recommendations, and capacity considerations.
• Hands on experience with Cloud Performance Testing for applications hosted on public or private cloud environments.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross functional and client teams.
• Design, plan, and execute end to end performance test strategies (load, stress, endurance, scalability) for complex enterprise and cloud based applications.
• Develop, parameterize, and maintain robust scripts, scenarios, and workloads aligned with business usage patterns, including advanced correlation, parameterization, think time modeling, error handling, custom logic, and data driven frameworks.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, platform, infrastructure, and operations teams to define performance scope, SLAs/SLOs, KPIs, and success criteria, interpret performance results, diagnose root causes, and recommend tuning and optimization strategies.
• Prepare clear, data driven performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for technical and business stakeholders, communicating complex technical findings in a concise and business relevant manner.
• Guide project teams on performance best practices throughout the SDLC and support shift left performance testing approaches, including early requirements clarification and performance risk identification.
• Good to have exposure on AI modelling for Performance Testing

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering.

Experience:

• 4-8 years of experience in performance testing role.

• Proven experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Loadrunner and Gatling.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Good to have : Ai model performance testing experience
