About the Role
As a Refinery Site Manager, you are responsible for safely managing day-to-day operations of refinery process, finished fuels, and water treatment programs to ensure performance and value delivery for our customers. You will manage a team of Account Representatives and Technicians at our customer's location in Lemont, IL.
Responsibilities

- Manage a team of Account Representatives and Technicians at our customer's location in Lemont, IL
- Develop trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to promote collaboration
- Apply account management fundamentals to understand customer needs, requirements and potential sales opportunities while supporting the account P&L
- Identify and coordinate numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customers
- Routine monitoring and reporting of performance of existing treatment programs
- Collaborate with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers
- Collect and interpret data for troubleshooting, service reports, meetings, reviews, and presentations delivered to customers
- Provide field support, laboratory analysis and technical guidance for our customers on issues, projects, turn-arounds, shut-downs, and daily operations
- Manage chemical inventories and deliveries at the customer location
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or similar discipline
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Refining, supporting hydrocarbon process and finished fuels additives treatment programs
- Strong understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology and sales process
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretation
- Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions
- Ability to present complex technical content to various levels of internal and external organizations, in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)
- A TWIC Card or ability to obtain a TWIC Card
- Residing in a commutable distance to Lemont, IL
Work Schedule
Typical hours will be Monday – Friday, 7am - 4pm (must be willing and able to support the business after hours as-required)

Compensation
The annual pay scale for this position is between $76,800.00 - $190,900.00. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time.
