As a Senior Sales Specialist – Artificial Lift, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the senior commercial focal point for key national and international accounts.
- Developing and executing multi‑year account strategies aligned with customer asset development plans and Baker Hughes’ regional objectives.
- Building and maintaining executive‑level relationships across customer organizations, including production, subsurface, and procurement leadership.
- Driving sustainable revenue growth and margin expansion across the Artificial Lift portfolio
- Identifying and maturing high‑value opportunities in brownfield optimization, production enhancement, and integrated service models.
- Leading complex commercial engagements, including long‑term contracts, performance‑based agreements, and integrated project solutions.
- Leading the development of fit‑for‑purpose Artificial Lift solutions integrating digital technologies, automation, and production optimization workflows.
- Collaborating with engineering and product line teams to deliver differentiated, value‑driven proposals.
- Owning full commercial accountability, including pipeline development, forecasting, pricing strategy, tendering, and contract negotiations.
- Contributing to regional business planning, investment decisions, and portfolio positioning.
- Acting as a market ambassador, representing Baker Hughes in key industry forums and client engagements.
- Leading coordination across product lines, operations, supply chain, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless execution.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- MBA or equivalent business education is preferred.
- Have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Artificial Lift.
- Demonstrate success in senior sales or strategic account management roles.
- Possess strong experience in the Venezuelan market and engagement with NOCs (e.g., PDVSA).
- Executive presence and ability to influence C‑level stakeholders.
- Deep expertise across Artificial Lift technologies and production optimization.
- Strong commercial acumen, contract negotiation skills, and financial understanding.
- Fluent Spanish; professional English proficiency.
