As an EARC Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting network infrastructure across a wide range of global real estate projects. You will collaborate with global and local stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and standardized network solutions across new builds, expansions, relocations, and integration activities.
You will play a critical role in translating site layouts and infrastructure requirements into robust network designs, ensuring adherence to Baker Hughes standards while enabling business continuity and growth.
As an EARC Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and deploying network infrastructure for real estate projects including greenfield, brownfield, relocations, and integrations.
- Collaborating with Global Real Estate Teams, Project Managers, and local facilities for network design and execution.
- Developing end‑to‑end network designs covering LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, routing, switching, and security components.
- Preparing detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) aligned with Baker Hughes infrastructure standards and site requirements.
- Ensuring adherence to enterprise network standards and supporting standardization initiatives across projects.
- Executing infrastructure upgrades, enhancements, and modernization activities.
- Supporting site surveys, installations, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise networks.
- Maintaining accurate documentation for project deliverables, including transition‑to‑operations (TTO) activities.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in network and infrastructure implementation within real estate or enterprise environments.
- Demonstrate strong networking fundamentals including routing, switching, subnetting, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Possess proven expertise in network design and implementation, including SD‑WAN solutions.
- Have hands‑on experience with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto networking and security technologies.
- Bring solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles including firewalls, VPNs, and network protection strategies.
- Have working knowledge of automation and scripting using Python or similar languages.
- Demonstrate the ability to design physical and logical networks based on site layouts and MEP diagrams.
- Exhibit strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
