Shop/Plan Operator-Entry Join our Baker Hughes Team!

We are seeking a Shop/Plan Operator-Entry. The Shopfloor Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling & testing products, and ensuring smooth production processes on the shop floor. This role involves maintaining quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Partner with the best As a Shop/Plan Operator-Entry, you will be responsible for:

• Should coordinate with customers & 3rd parties during inspections
• Operate and monitor production machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform assembly, testing, packaging, and material handling tasks as required.
• Inspect products for quality and report any defects or deviations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with 5S principles.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor machine issues and escalate major problems to maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Fuel your passion

• ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical engineering/ Electrical engineering
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machines.
• Understanding safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
