About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Intercompany Accountant with** 1–3 years of experience** in general accounting or intercompany accounting. This role is ideal for a** fresh professional** who is eager to learn, build strong fundamentals, and grow long‑term within a multinational joint‑venture environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Senior accountant in managing IC matters in Vietnam included IC balance; IC payment planning and IC payment execution. Prepare the monthly IC AR AP report and regularly update to management and Regional Treasury Team on the IC payment proposal to balance the gap between JV and BH
- Combine cross charge expense, T&E expense and loan out to meet $5K threshold for monthly rebilling to IC entities
- Maintaining IC agreement for Repair & Maintenance (R&M), TSA and CRA are confirmed and signed by IC entities. To ensure compliance with bank/tax compliance requirements
- Assist with Foreign Contractor tax (WHT certificate) documentation related to IC transaction/settlement in accordance with Technical Service Agreement (TSA), Cost Reimbursement Agreement and other signed Agreement with IC entities.
- Support the Senior Accountant in working with HR and the PL competency team to set flat rates for consistent job titles, ensuring fair intercompany cross-charges. Align on charge components, mark-ups, and related withholding tax
- Managing the monthly CER Tool/IAP entry closing, and other general ledger accounts when needed.
- Maintain up to date the list of required supporting document for IC payment in accordance with bank requirement and local tax law.
- Perform general accounting tasks, including GL entries, reconciliations, and month‑end closing
- Assisting in various account reconciliations and analyses as and when requires and other accounting related jobs as assigned by Line Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in general accounting, AP, or intercompany accounting
- Basic understanding of Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations
- Have sufficient verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to handle multiple activities successfully.
- Have understanding of ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP is added advantage.
