Cementing Technical Engineer
As a Cementing Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
-
Leading the technical preparation for cementing jobs by understanding customer objectives, well‑construction requirements, and commercial conditions.
-
Analyzing offset wells, historical data, and application hazards to anticipate risks and inform engineering decisions.
-
Collaborating across disciplines to ensure all technical constraints, operational considerations, and product selections are optimized for execution.
-
Designing cementing job programs with risk‑mitigation measures, contingency plans, and clear technical documentation for field deployment.
-
Supporting job execution by providing on‑demand engineering input, communicating risks to customers, and ensuring clear visibility of any design adjustments.

Evaluating job performance post‑execution, documenting lessons learned, leading technical incident investigations, and recommending product or process improvements.

To be successful in this role you will:
-
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 3+ years of relevant experience in well construction, cementing, or technical oilfield operations.
-
Have strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing capabilities, including the ability to support and guide teams across complex organizational boundaries.
-
Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients, share insights, and present engineering recommendations confidently.
-
Have strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to use engineering tools for modeling, simulations, and data analysis.

Have experience working in a global matrix environment with an understanding of commercial terms, P&L drivers, and technical job‑planning requirements.

Have the ability to travel, support on‑call operational needs, and independently manage technical deliverables and field‑related responsibilities.
