
Automation Technician, Quality
About the role
Job Description The Quality Control Technician is an independent function responsible for maintaining quality assurance plans and processes, preventive maintenance paperwork, inventory reports, surveys and installation documentation, and recording and analyzing results data.
The QC technician will follow through on a set of processes to ensure adherence to contract requirements and OEM product quality standards are met for preventive and corrective maintenance deliverables. The QC role may also conduct visits to sites to validate the quality of PM or CM work performed.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Measurement and data analysis skills.
- Proven M365 proficiency.
- Knowledge of industry and systems.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six (6) years of experience in technical problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Two (2) years of experience with QA/QC methods, principles, and practices including statistical analysis, quality inspection, testing, and measurement techniques.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Common Access Card
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Six (6) years experience performing / supporting removal, installation, maintenance, testing, and calibration of Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE), Airfield Refueling Electrical Supervisions and Control Systems (ARES), or Automated Tank Gauging (ATG) automation instrumentation and sensors.
- OEM Certification by Veeder-Root (Level 1), Ronan, and Enraf.
Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the Mc Namara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
