BAE Systems is seeking a well-rounded, highly experienced Quality professional who possesses strong problem solving, leadership and team building expertise. This individual will represent the Supplier Quality organization as the Counterfeit Parts Prevention (CPP) Subject Matter Expert (SME). This individual will chair the ES Sector CPP Board with other BAE Systems functional team members who oversee & administer the ES Business CPP Program. This individual will be responsible to continuously improve, enhance robustness and increase our organization’s CPP proficiency. This individual will be responsible for strategic planning, risk management, training & education and compliance as it relates to CPP across the ES Business. Additionally, this individual will attend CPP summits/symposiums, manage supplier CPP compliance, and conduct joint CPP audits as determined by risk management reviews with the CPP Board. This position acts as the ES Business external facing representative for all CPP related matters attending both Government and Industry gatherings on CPP regulatory and standards requirements. This role is an individual contributor role that manages both strategic and tactical activities on a daily basis.
This individual must have experience with Program Quality, Program Engineering, Supply Chain/Supplier Management/Procurement, Quality Systems, Industry Standards (AS9100, AS5553, AS6171, AS6081…), and USG Contracts, Terms & Conditions, DFARS, FARs & other DoD regulatory requirements. This individual possess project management skills, Material Review Board (MRB) disposition expertise, procedure writing, public speaking and excellent written communication skills.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with 6-8+ years of experience or 10-12+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- AS9100 Auditor certification and/or Quality Management System (AS9100) audit experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt and/or process improvement experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Expertise with Industry Standards Committees and Government relations
- EEE Manufacturing/Process/Design Engineering skills
- AS9100 Auditor certification and/or 5+ years of Quality Management System audit experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt and/or 5+ years of process improvement experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
