About the Role

This internship focuses on development and testing of early-stage prototype hardware related to handling semiconductor wafers. Work involves experiment design, execution, and discussion contextualized with literature discussions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, Execute, and Discuss testing methodologies for prototypes

• Read, Understand and Discuss relevant Literature

• Present data to a technical group

• Receive 1-1 instruction and direction from in-house scientists and engineers

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in STEM Courses

• Experience in experimental research conditions

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to present ideas and data coherently

• Ability to work safely around controlled environmental hazards

BASE SALARY RANGE:

$20.00 - $30.00

This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.

Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on

multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work

location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as

you develop within the role.

Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the

Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular

employees working 20+ hours a week).
