Our 25,000 employees raise the bar every day, bringing different perspectives, taking ownership, and leading with integrity. We’re defining the future of mobility with safe, sustainable solutions that move people, businesses, and communities forward.  The Director of Procurement Systems & Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for leading enterprise initiatives for the Global Procurement organization, which will include (but not be limited to) supporting the ABG Procurement Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan, creating the Global Procurement Policy, architecting and leading the operationalization of a global S2P (Source to Pay process. In addition, this role will create and lead the governance to evaluate Global Procurement’s value capture delivery. This role will have 2-3 direct reports. What You'll Do:   Architect, align, and lead the implementation of the Global Source to Pay for Avis Budget globally, including the creation and implementation of an agile technology roadmap and global procurement policy (see below) Create, align, and oversee the rollout of the Global Procurement Policy to ensure Avis Budget Group extracts maximum value for its billions of third-party expenses and meets regulatory, safety, ESG, and other key standards Create, align, and lead the technology roadmap for Global Procurement (key priority will be Procure to Pay as well as a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system) Lead the governance for all Global Procurement value delivery – savings, cost avoidance, working capital Support the Global Chief Procurement Officer in the creation of the Strategic Plan as well as the Annual Operating Plan Support the Global Chief Procurement Officer in the creation of a total capability program for Global Procurement, including learning plan for all associates Manage a team of direct reports (2-3 FTEs), including data analysts and market intelligence analysts Perks You’ll Get: Paid time off  401K retirement plan with company matched contributions  Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance  Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Legal, Identity Theft, Insurance, FSA, additional life insurance coverages  Contribute up to $260 as a tax free benefit for public transportation or parking expenses  Employee discounts, including discounted prices on purchase of Avis / Budget cars  Access to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service, and more What We're Looking For:   Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. 10+ years of progressive procurement finance experience, particularly in creating procurement savings framework and leading systems initiatives Proven success in creating and implementing P2P or S2P systems along with accompanying people, process and technology needs in a highly fragmented spend organization. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels. Very Strong analytical and communication abilities with a track record of delivering business-aligned procurement outcomes. The annual starting salary for this position is between $180,000 - $220,000 annually.
