Position Overview

We’re looking for a systems-minded, future-focused leader to join our SEO Center of Excellence as the Search Platform & Innovation Manager. This role bridges today’s SEO infrastructure with tomorrow’s search landscape—owning the way Autodesk structures, scales, and innovates our search visibility across a massive digital ecosystem.

You’ll lead efforts to improve our site’s technical search readiness, including crawl architecture, structured data, and internal linking systems. At the same time, you’ll push us forward into emerging search formats—from AI Overviews and LLM-based visibility to entity surfacing and knowledge graph readiness. This role is equal parts builder, connector, and forward thinker.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for SEO platform architecture—ensuring our pages, structure, and metadata support discoverability at scale

  • Partner with Mar Tech, Web Engineering, and APM teams to implement scalable structured data (schema), page templates, and metadata systems across Autodesk.com

  • Lead initiatives to improve crawl paths, indexation control, and internal linking systems that elevate priority pages

  • Monitor AI-driven search innovations (SGE, Gemini, OpenAI, Bing Copilot) and translate them into actionable recommendations for how we structure and surface content

  • Collaborate with SEO content strategists to guide content IA, component-level markup, and entity-driven optimization

  • Establish SEO platform standards and best practices—supporting international scale, accessibility, and reusability

  • Serve as the primary technical partner for site migrations, new platform features, and experimental rollouts tied to SEO performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in SEO, technical marketing, or web experience roles—ideally supporting large-scale B2B websites

  • Deep understanding of structured data (schema.org), page architecture, internal linking, and crawl/indexation logic

  • Familiarity with AI/LLM-driven search trends and how they influence visibility strategies

  • Experience collaborating with engineering and CMS/Mar Tech teams to implement SEO best practices at scale

  • Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills—you can translate technical complexity into clear next steps

  • Bonus: Experience working in AEM, Snowflake, or managing SEO visibility across localized/global sites.
