Position overview

Autodesk is transforming the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owner (AECO) sector by enhancing existing Computational Design and Automation methods with cutting-edge Agentic technologies, seamlessly integrating them into products such as Revit, Civil 3D, Construction Cloud, and Forma.

As the Senior Product Manager for Computational Design and Automation, you will own the Dynamo Execution ecosystem, ensuring Dynamo can reliably and swiftly execute across both Desktop and Cloud domains, as well a lead a cross-organizational program of Dynamo QA Improvements to ensure a safe, predictable and fast release cycle at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and industry specialists, to establish product vision and strategy, ensuring the integration of advanced computational design and automation tools within Autodesk’s product suite and industry-specific cloud solutions.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about tackling complex customer challenges, excels in navigating ambiguity, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a clear strategic focus. This position reports to the Director of Computational Design and Automation within the AECO organization. Autodesk offers flexible, hybrid work arrangements, with key home offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.

Location: Canada Hybrid or Remote

Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalize the product strategy and roadmap for the Dynamo Execution ecosystem. Set a clear vision across runtime, cloud services, and the package ecosystem; translate strategy into prioritized milestones and resource commitments

  • Own end-to-end quality, release, and validation strategy across desktop, cloud and automation domains. Establish CI/CD and release orchestration, validation gating, and repeatable release processes that make risk visible and manageable

  • Lead large, multi-disciplinary programs. Decompose strategy into workstreams, set milestones and success criteria, anticipate bottlenecks, and drive trade-offs and escalations to keep programs on track

  • Build and sustain cross-organizational partnerships. Align Engineering, QA, Trust, Security, Legal and GTM around standards, governance, and delivery rhythms that enable reliable execution

  • Define, operate and report KPIs and success metrics. Track availability, MTTR, release velocity, test coverage and package health; use data to prioritize work and inform executives

  • Deeply understand customers and personas. Run structured discovery, beta’s, and feedback loops with graph authors, consumers, package authors and downstream teams to de-risk launches

  • Evangelize execution improvements and align product lines. Translate technical tradeoffs into business impact and build consensus so Dynamo is adopted as a dependable platform across products

  • Modernize organizational QA capability. Drive delivery of automated validation suites, deterministic regression harnesses, release orchestration and organization-level QA playbooks and training

  • Champion engineering investments in reliability and safety. Advocate for testability, observability, fault-injection/chaos methods, reproducibility and package security (dependency, signing, sandboxing)

  • Operationalize production readiness with Trust partners. Define SLAs, runbooks, incident response practices and compliance guardrails to improve resilience and customer trust

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software product management experience shipping complex technical products (cloud services, runtime environments, or developer platforms)

  • Proven track record owning cross-organizational programs that delivered measurable improvements in reliability, release velocity, or operational maturity

  • Strong technical fluency with runtime environments, cloud services, CI/CD, test automation, and release engineering. Comfortable discussing architecture and trade-offs with engineers and architects

  • Experience with the AEC industry, Revit/Design Automation integrations, or computational design workflows (Dynamo or equivalent) - or demonstrated ability to quickly learn domain specifics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; experience influencing senior leaders and aligning distributed teams to a common plan

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping language runtimes, VMs, serverless or execution sandboxes, or package ecosystems (package manager design, dependency resolution, security policies)

  • Background in QA strategy, release engineering, SRE, or running operational programs that improved SLAs/MTTR and reduced incident volume

  • Formal training or familiarity with product frameworks (SVPG/Pragmatic), and strong program management skills

  • Experience with Design Automation ecosystems (Autodesk Design Automation or similar) and integration patterns between desktop, cloud, and automation pipelines

  • Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, Architecture, or related field

The Ideal Candidate

  • You’re a pragmatic strategic leader who pairs strong product judgment with technical credibility

  • You’ve shipped platform-level or developer-facing systems where reliability, reproducibility, and secure package distribution matter

  • You can lead through influence, simplify ambiguity for executives, and create repeatable engineering processes that scale

  • You are equally comfortable defining product vision and rolling up your sleeves to design a CI/CD pipeline, a test harness, or a release gate

  • You obsess about customer outcomes, and you measure success in reduced incidents, faster safe releases, and higher customer confidence in the Dynamo ecosystem

Am I a liar? I got hired for a high-paying 3D design job and they think I’m using hardcore CAD software. I’m not.

I need some outside perspective because this is starting to keep me up at night. A few weeks ago I got hired at a company to help design a new product. The pay is honestly way higher than anything I expected. During interviews they mostly focused on my portfolio and how quickly I could iterate concepts. They seemed really impressed. Now that I’m here, everyone seems to assume I’m some kind of industrial desing/mechanical engineering CAD expert. I'm actually self-taught from YouTube. People i

[Video Games] Darkstalkers Are Not Dead: the story of Yoshinori Ono's failed attempt at necromancy

# How we got here In the mid-to-late 2000s, Japan's video game scene went through some serious troubles: although plenty of beloved games still came out, the Lost Decade crash had driven several Japanese companies into bankruptcy or consolidation, and several development tools had been deprecated (most famously Autodesk Maya). Because of this, some Japanese designers, like Tecmo's **Tomonobu Itagaki** (3D *Ninja Gaiden*, *Dead or Alive*) and Capcom's **Keiji Inafune** (*Mega Man*), instead turn
