Senior Software Engineer

Within Core Engineering, the Kube Platform (Kube Plat) team builds and scales the foundational compute platform that powers Atlassian’s global cloud services. Our mission is to provide an enterprise-grade, highly reliable, and self-healing infrastructure layer spanning compute, Kubernetes control planes, CI/CD, and artifact pipelines.

• Kubernetes Control Plane:

Design and develop core components of Atlassian’s Kubernetes control plane platform.

• Multi-Cloud Enablement:

Contribute to multi-cloud infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, Oasis, and FedRAMP.

• Cell-Based Architecture:

Drive the adoption of cell-based architecture to deliver reliable, highly scalable Kubernetes infrastructure.

• Core Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes,Cloud Infrastructure,Platform Engineering, and Core Engineering principles.

• Cloud & Infrastructure:

Practical experience across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
