Lead Software Engineering at AT&T
About the role
JOB LOCATION: 20309 N. Creek Pkwy., Bldg. L, Bothell, WA 98011
DUTIES: Lead the development of innovative mobile applications for iOS and Android. Drive the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation. Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers/architects and clients to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. Perform Unit Testing, dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Support the software deployment process.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math and 5 Years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 Years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in a related occupation supporting the Full Stack software development experience on mobile platforms including iOS and Android; utilizing React Native, Node.JS, Redux, NPM, Java, NestJS, Kubernetes, Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, Jenkins, Typescript, Hoppscotch, and Git; utilizing native build tools, such as Xcode, Gradle, Android Studio, or IntelliJ; utilizing software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum; supporting Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines; utilizing UI/UX Design Principles; and utilizing and integrating APIs, web services and RESTful architecture.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept an additional 2 years of experience supporting the Full Stack software development experience on mobile platforms including iOS and Android; utilizing React Native, Node.JS, Redux, NPM, Java, NestJS, Kubernetes, Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, Jenkins, Typescript, Hoppscotch, and Git; utilizing native build tools, such as Xcode, Gradle, Android Studio, or IntelliJ; utilizing software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum; supporting Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines; utilizing UI/UX Design Principles; and utilizing and integrating APIs, web services and RESTful architecture.
