Developer Role: Qualification

Preferred bachelor’s degree in information systems technology, Computer Science, or Engineering; Developer nanodegree, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in Java and Groovy for backend development and scripting tasks
• Over 5+ years' experience building and maintaining applications using Spring Boot framework and developing Cloud native applications using Java/Spring Boot
• Programing Skills/ frameworks - ( Java Spring Boot Apache Groovy, Kafka
  Camunda BPM ) or ( Java Spring Boot, Kafka )
• Database - (PostgreSQL Oracle) or ( NoSQL (Couchbase) )
• Strong communication skills (fluency in English)
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and drive issues to closure
• Having knowledge of ordering and billing domain specifically in Retail consumer business is an advantage.
• Understand High-Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low-Level Design
• Experience working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices
• Perform development (code, unit test & deployment) for the Data warehousing domain
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture
• Must have solid hands-on technical experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Cloud deployment.
• Designing and implementing microservices that communicate via Kafka or REST APIs
• Familiarity with Swagger / OpenAPI for documenting and testing APIs
• Strong experience with Jenkins for building CI/CD pipelines
• Need to have developing/conceptual knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Couchbase, bitbucket, Postman, Jenkins
• Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation is an advantage
• Familiarity with Nexus Repository for artifact management
• Experience using Helm Charts to package and deploy Kubernetes applications is an advantage
• Experience deploying applications to Azure, preferably using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Proficient with Docker for containerizing applications
• Skilled in Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling
• Exposure to Open Shift for enterprise-grade container platform management
• Good to have knowledge on Camunda BPM for business process modeling and automation and having knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to design and deploy BPMN workflows integrated with microservices
• Solid understanding of NoSQL (Couchbase), PostgreSQL and Oracle Database for data modeling, querying, and optimization
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and managing database performance
• Familiarity with Keycloak for identity and access management (IAM)
• Familiarity with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and observability
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) for iterative development
• Proficient in using Jira for task tracking and sprint planning
• Experience with Git and Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration
• Effectively handle multiple and complex work assignments, while consistently delivering high-quality work
• Perform application analysis and propose technical solutions for application enhancement.
• Creation of necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases
• Handle Production Issues in the warranty period and ensure SLAs are met
• Consult, when necessary, with relevant parties, raise timely risks
• Ability to stretch respective working hours, when necessary, to support business needs
• Experience with Git and Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration
