Sr. Specialist - Cyber Ark

We are seeking a skilled PAM Technical Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the PAM privileged access security platform. This includes ensuring its continuous improvements and providing technical inputs and optimization to the existing environment. The Sr specialist will play an integral role in AT&T's privileged access program by managing privileged accounts and reducing overall risk to AT&T.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineering activities of the Cyber Ark PAM solution both Onprem, privilege cloud (SaaS), Cyber Ark conjur (DAP) and Cyber Ark EPM, including Deployment, scripting automation user provisioning, vault management, and policy enforcement.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cyber Ark components, including Vault, CPM, PSM/PSMs, PVWA, SaaS components (SIA/SWA) and Secrets Management.

• Implement, configure, and maintain policies and workflows in Cyber Ark.

• Implement, configure, and maintain policies and workflows in Cyber Ark EPM.

• Collaborate with security architects, engineers, and the IT operations team to ensure smooth integration of Cyber Ark with other security tools and services.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and best practices related to PAM.

• Maintain documentation for system configurations, changes, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-12 years of experience working with Cyber Ark, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Cyber Ark onprem and SaaS (Priv cloud) components: Vault, CPM, PSM, PVWA, Secrets Management, etc..
• Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) principles, Delinea AD Bridging, and Active Directory (AD) integration.
• Proficient with Cyber Ark API usage and integration with external systems.
• Hands-on experience with Cyber Ark upgrades, patches, and best practice implementations.
• Familiarity with information security standards (NIST, ISO, etc.) and regulatory compliance requirements (SOX, PCI, etc.).
• Familiarity with applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) techniques in cybersecurity contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, threat hunting, behavioral analytics, or risk scoring).
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (such as Copilot for Security, Darktrace, Crowd Strike Charlotte AI, or custom LLM integrations) to enhance detection, response, and automation workflows.
• Understanding of LLM safety, prompt engineering, or AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act readiness) is a plus.
• Exposure to data science fundamentals relevant to security (pattern recognition, supervised vs. unsupervised learning, model validation).
• Awareness of AI-driven risks (e.g., adversarial ML, data poisoning, model hallucination) and their mitigation within enterprise environments.
• Interest in leveraging GenAI for security operations, such as summarizing alerts, drafting reports, or automating incident triage."

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cyber Ark Sentry, CDE, CPC certifications in Cyber Ark PAS, priv cloud, EPM.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate tasks within the Cyber Ark environment.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines as they relate to PAM solutions.
• Experience working in a large-scale, complex, multi-domain environment.
• Automation expertise to leverage AI‑driven onboarding and operational frameworks
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
