The Senior Specialist Executive Assistant for Public Sector and First Net will serve as a strategic partner to senior executives, providing advanced administrative support and ensuring seamless daily operations. In this role, you will collaborate across AT&T and with external partners, anticipate needs before they arise, and bring structure to ambiguity. This role is key in managing critical projects, facilitating communication across leadership teams, and driving organizational goals.

Overall Purpose: Performs advanced confidential administrative duties for one or more company officers, ensuring efficient operation of both on-site and remote activities while maintaining organizational standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and thrives with change. Professionalism, strong follow-through, and a clear sense of ownership are required.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:-Confidential Administrative Support: Perform advanced confidential administrative duties for one or more company officers, handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, and interacting with high-level contacts.

  • Calendar, Meeting, and Travel Management: Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, plan events, and make travel arrangements to ensure seamless coordination of both on-site and offsite activities.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Serve as a trusted liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders. Draft and review correspondence, presentations, and reports. Take appropriate actions to ensure timely flow of information while fostering strong connections.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Chief of Staff team to manage the annual rhythm of business (ROB). Build strong internal and external networks across the organization to support team and leader priorities. Apply executive-level judgment, discretion, and business insights to anticipate needs, guide decision-making, and prepare staff to effectively distribute information to their teams and supported leaders.
  • Administrative Duties and Financial Administration: Assist with budget preparation, expense tracking, and financial transactions, process bills, vouchers, payroll, and other administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Guidance, Prioritization, and Operational Programs: Provide guidance for other executive assistants and managers, prioritize assignments and tasks, and coordinate requests for workspace, service, office equipment, and other operational programs such as charitable campaigns and employee recognition.
  • Workflow Optimization: Anticipate executive’s needs and proactively remove obstacles to ensure day‑to‑day operational efficiency. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and executive workflows, resolving challenges and driving efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of Administrative Assistant experience.
  • Minimum 4 years supporting senior executives (VP and above) as an Executive Administrative Assistant.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools; ability to create executive-ready materials.
  • Experience scheduling complex, multi-leg domestic and international travel; demonstrated experience processing visas/passports.
  • SAP or equivalent ERP experience processing expense reports and basic financial tasks.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with executives and internal/external stakeholders, both onsite and remotely.
  • Demonstrated experience using Generative AI tools to draft, summarize, plan, and streamline workflows, with strong judgment on application and review.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficient in using a variety of digital tools, such as work order management systems, room scheduling applications, and other business-related software.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the planning, coordination, and execution of special events hosted by Public Sector and First Net
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability and confidence to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels while maintaining the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance desired.

Our Senior Specialist Executive Assistant's earn between $87,200 - $130,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
