Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

In addition to performing your primary Technician role, you will effectively coordinate Optics manufacturing in a designated area of operations. You will partner with the Area manager and Shift Group Leader to support safe, on-time delivery of high-quality products to your customers. Roles and responsibilities

CWW Front End Nights

Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule- twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week.

  • With direction from your manager, coordinate with peers to deliver precision optics on your shift
  • Maintain and monitor work schedules with clearly defined priorities for your shift.
  • Maintain alignment on priorities for your shift.
  • Perform assigned work content to support area and factory schedule execution.
  • Actively monitor and take ownership of optical processing equipment
  • Transparently highlight and document any safety, quality, or equipment issues and escalate requests for help as needed.
  • Work effectively with peers across shifts to meet goals and maintain production continuity.
  • Collaborate with the Production Engineering and Manufacturing Management teams to improve operational efficiency and effectivity.
  • Assist with training new and existing employees

Education and Experience:

  • Prior Wilton Factory Optical Fabrication experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong manufacturing operation acumen.
  • Demonstrated history of operational improvement through effective collaboration and engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook 365 applications, SAP or comparable ERP systems.

Skills:

  • Commitment to task and results orientation to complete scheduled activities and report status throughout your shift.
  • Attention to detail to deliver quality results from your processing step, including visually inspecting your work to detect and report any abnormalities.
  • Organization of information and materials.
  • Ability to read and understand gages and other measuring devices.
  • Ability to interpret mathematical and geometrical data. An example would be experience reading and interpreting topographical maps.
  • Ability to effectively communicate written and verbal information.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly document a problem using facts and data.
  • Accountable for your actions and willingness to engage in problem resolution.
  • Constructively challenge the status quo in search of a better way.
  • Care for yourself and others by confronting unsafe behaviors or conditions.
  • Take pride in your work and speak up when observing abnormal conditions in a process or product.
  • Self-motivated learner.
  • Dexterity to handle optical components with care.

Other Information:

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • May require travel dependent on business needs.
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be comfortable working around lasers, working with ladders, working on platforms, and working around chemicals.
  • Must be able to work in a moderate to high noise level environment in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Must be comfortable operating/working around overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet movers.
  • May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, solvents and tooling.

Additional Responsibilities:

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
