About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Backend Developer, you’ll take a leadership role in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services that power our cybersecurity solutions. You'll mentor junior developers, drive architectural decisions, and work closely with front-end engineers, security teams, and DevOps to create robust and efficient systems.
What You’ll Do

Architect, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services.

Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and micro-services to support frontend applications.

Optimise system performance, security, and reliability for large-scale cloud applications.
-
Collaborate with front-end developers, security teams, and DevOps engineers to drive backend innovation.
-
Work with databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
-
Implement authentication, authorisation, and security best practices.
-
Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
-
Continuously improve development processes and promote backend best practices.
-
Work with React/Typescript to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
What You Bring
-
5+ years of experience in backend development, with exposure to full-stack development.
-
Expertise in any of the programming languages such as Python/Django, Go
-
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, and micro-services architecture.
-
Experience with databases (such as PostgreSQL).
-
Proficiency in asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance optimisation.
-
Familiarity with message queues (such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS).
-
Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms.
-
Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and ECS.
Bonus Points for
-
Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS) and cloud-native architectures.
-
Experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Service Bus.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
-
Strong experience with Git for version control.

Interest in cybersecurity and security operations.
