Technical Lead- Audio/DSP/Amplifier

Your Role

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and architecture for Audio DSP and infotainment systems across QNX, Linux, and Android platforms
  • Analyze customer requirements and convert them into design and implementation strategies
  • Provide technical leadership for complex audio features, DSP integration, and certification compliance
  • Develop and review code in C & C++ language
  • Analyze and resolve customer and internal reported issues
  • Support software integration activity
  • Conduct software module testing (functional, unit/integration testing)
  • Understand and involve in various KPIs including certification activities/process
  • Monitor Android Automotive trends and roadmaps

Your Background

Key Experience/Skill Requisites

  • 8+ years of experience in Automotive Audio systems with strong expertise in QNX, Linux, and Android platforms and hypervisor-based systems
  • Expertise in Embedded C, C++ development
  • Expertise in Automotive Audio Framework and Audio DSP, Audio routine and Alsa layer
  • Hands-on experience with industry-leading So Cs in the automotive sector
  • In-depth knowledge of standard and time/safety-critical audio features
  • Good to have knowledge of Android Audio Framework, Audio Policy Manager, Audio Flinger, Android HAL, Media Server, and Audio Server
  • Experience in QNX audio architecture, audio routing, and DSP driver integration
  • In-depth design knowledge on audio routing, echo canceller integration, DSP driver, A2B driver, Class D/AB amplifier drivers
  • Good knowledge on Hardware interfaces and ability to understand schematics
  • ASPICE - Ability to create detailed software architecture, requirements, and design documents
  • Knowledge of UNIX and Linux and peripherals
  • I2C, SPI, I2S, TDM
  • Decision-making abilities at the architecture level and providing proposals to customers
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum processes for project development
  • Ability to lead teams and handle customer milestones from a technical standpoint
  • Experience in realizing KPIs as per Apple (Car Play), Google (Android Auto), and Amazon (Alexa) requirements
  • Experience in certification of infotainment products in areas like APQM, ITUT, and Audio Tuning
  • Skills for analyzing and fixing issues in Android Framework or service layer
  • Willingness to learn new things

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics / Communication / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Science with >60% aggregate starting from Class X till UG/PG

Experience

7+ years of relevant experience in Automotive Audio systems
