YOUR ROLE

As a Hardware Engineering Manager, you will provide senior technical and people leadership to multiple mechanical/hardware engineering teams delivering automotive customer programs. You will be accountable for project execution, engineering quality, cost targets, customer satisfaction, and the development of future-ready engineering talent.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage mechanical/hardware engineering managers and teams delivering customer programs with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery
• Drive mechanical design and analysis using industry-standard tools such as NX, Catia, Ansys, Abaqus, TcE, and DFMEA methodologies
• Act as a senior customer-facing leader, proactively managing risks and preventing escalations
• Ensure alignment between engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to deliver cost-effective, high-quality, and manufacturable designs
• Develop successors, strengthen technical and leadership capabilities, and support strategic workforce planning aligned to Aptiv’s technology roadmap

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph

D in Hardware or Mechanical Engineering:

• Minimum 16 years of professional experience, with strong exposure to automotive or hardware product development
• Proven people-management experience, including leading managers and multi-project teams
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
• Experience working in global or international environments
