YOUR ROLE

At Aptiv, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that make transportation safer, greener, and more connected. Our embedded engineers design, develop, and validate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and Compute and Security and User Experience products, following Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability determination) compliant processes, to enhance vehicle safety and user experience In this role, you will design, develop, and validate base software modules for automotive applications.

Your day to day will consist of the following:

• Develop software for active safety or body control production projects
• Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems with first time quality
• Work closely with component teams on interfaces and dependencies
• Triaging of issues reported from stakeholders
• Internal and customer diagnostics SW design, power moding, HWIO, Autosar stack
  configuration using tools like Vector Da Vinci and implementation and triaging

Responsible for static analysis, unit testing, and integration
testing of the software on a hardware platform

• Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability determination)
  and Functional Safety process compliance

Your Background Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related
  field of study)
• At least 2 years of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics
• Bilingual – proficient in English speaking/reading/writing
• Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge
• Cross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to effectively manage several projects at once
• Strong soft skills: skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profile
• Familiar with Embedded C on microcontroller architectures
  Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience in Automotive embedded Software development
• Deep embedded triaging skills
• Experience in diagnostics, Low power mode implementation, factory-test software
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and Automotive SPICE
