Duties and responsibilities:

• Development of new products using FEM/FVM/FDM in cooperation with Design Engineers under limited supervision.

• Evaluating and developing new design concepts.

• Preparing reports and discussing simulation results with the engineering team and Customers.

• Collaborating and communicating with other Aptiv technical centers and divisions worldwide.

• Continuous and systematic improvement of professional qualifications.

• Maintaining a solid understanding of Aptiv products and services.

• Improving the quality and accuracy of simulation results.

• Recommending design improvements based on simulation outcomes.

• Delivering tasks on time and in accordance with Aptiv's corporate and Kraków Technical Center quality systems.

Requirements/Skills:

Required (must have):

• Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, thermal, electromagnetics, or related).

• Knowledge of CAD tools.

• Good command of technical English.

• Good understanding of heat, electricity, and mass transport principles.

• Knowledge of MS Office.

• Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines.

• Demonstration of Aptiv values in daily work.

• Open‑minded and teamwork‑oriented approach.

• Ability to plan and prioritize own tasks.

Would be an asset:

• Knowledge of Simulia Abaqus.

• Knowledge of Ansys Fluent / Siemens FlothermXT / Siemens FLOEFD / Siemens STAR‑CCM+.

• Knowledge of thermal and thermo‑electric measurement methodologies.

• Knowledge of fluid flow measurement methodologies.

• Familiarity with turbulence and multiphase flow modeling.

• Mobility (business trips on demand).
