YOUR ROLE

Factory Information Systems (FIS) is Aptiv’s developed and owned system used to track and monitor manufacturing processes. We are looking for an IT engineer who will be part of Global Factory Information Systems team and will operate globally.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Software development according to given quality standards and within given time
  • Develop in-depth understanding of manufacturing process
  • Actively participate in the investigation, design and deployment of a global Factory Information System
  • Act as technical subject matter expert to support ongoing operations. Participate in incident management process and problem resolution. Coordinate new system deployments globally
  • Provide technical consultation to production sites in the area of application functionality, configuration and interfacing capabilities
  • Assist production sites in connecting new equipment to Factory Information System

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • B.S. or Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology

  • At least 4 years of experience in IT area: software development for mission critical, transactional systems processing high volume of data

  • Ability to develop software in one of the following languages (C#, Java, VBA.NET, Python, C/C++)

  • English level B2 or higher
