Machine Learning (ML) has become extensively utilized in perception tasks within automobile applications. Aptiv has a longstanding history in the field of vision and Radar perception, and has been a pioneering force in employing ML for Radar perception. However, we're not content and stop there. We recognize the existence of even more challenging tasks, such as achieving human-like traffic scene understanding, trajectory prediction, and planning. These areas often pose hurdles for traditional rule- or model-based systems. Your background:

• Master or Ph.D. in computer science, machine learning or related field

• Excellent analytical skills and a good mathematical background

Professional experience in at least one of the following:

• Deep neural networks and other state of the art ML techniques for perception, segmentation, fusion, prediction and planning, or other related applications

• Active, reinforcement learning, imitation learning

• Time series prediction with modern ML techniques

• Model, rule and learning based decision making

• ML techniques CNN, RNN, Transformers

• Systematic, goal and outcome-oriented working style

Plus good knowledge in:

• Professional experience in AI development frameworks Py Torch

• Professional Skills in Python, C++

• English skill both in oral and written

• Experience in handling datasets and data science methods

• Understanding of edge processing / Embedded AI and related methods like RUST is a plus

• Experience in developing software as part of a team and Git, continuous integration tools and an agile development process

• Experience with automotive products in ADAS/AD, perception

• Proven track record of publications in relevant conferences (CVPR, NIPS, ICCV, ICRA, Fusion, and others…) and scientific background on relevant topics
