Your role:

  • Own global inbound freight, duties, and design cost performance, including savings, budget, forecast, and actuals.

  • Partner with PC&L, plant finance, engineering, and SCM teams to execute plans, anticipate risks, and ensure proper financial recognition.

  • Lead global logistics reporting, freight capitalization, accruals processes, and weekly tariff impact tracking with customer recovery actions.

  • Implement and govern standard models for inventory variance capitalization and BBP material cost/savings consolidation and analysis.

  • Act as the finance/accounting expert for global SCM, bridging operational actions with Aptiv’s financial statements.

  • Coach and support finance professionals moving from local to global roles.

  • Lead ad‑hoc initiatives to improve SCM finance processes and forecast accuracy.

Your Background:

  • 3–5 years of experience in finance/controlling, ideally at plant level, with exposure to SAP, BOM, product costing, and SCM/materials

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, eager to learn and comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

  • Proactive, autonomous team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions and time zones

  • Structured, data‑driven mindset, acting with ownership and objective judgment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across different seniority levels

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience extracting data from SAP

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
