YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and goal-oriented professional who is committed to providing excellent service at every interaction. In this role, you will ensure that customers receive the correct part, in the correct quantity, and at the correct time, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and responsiveness.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Handling customer requirements information.
  • Harmonize customer needs against Aptiv interests.
  • Customer Shipments Schedule & follow based on stablished routing instructions.
  • Aptiv expedite freight coordination; on best time & cost
  • Critical part numbers follow
  • Effective care and communication with customer
  • Shipping discrepancies on material follow up
  • Validate and adjustment on customer requirements variation (increases & decreases)
  • On time communication to manufacturing plants

MUST HAVES (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS):

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Business Administration, Logistics, International Commerce.
  • 2+ years’ experience in automotive industry and logistics.
  • 90% English (written and verbal)
  • Basic knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Office (Preferably, intermediate to expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to lead customer meetings, at all levels, independently.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Negotiation skills, to be able to deal with end customer on a daily basis.
