Your Role

• Single point of contact (SPOC) for product platform core HW architecture
• Align platform HW architecture to customer RFQs and proposals to attain 70% re-use
• Initiate platform definition during advanced development phase
• Fully develop platform definition by DV of pilot program (first customer application)
• Lead pilot phase projects as required
• Develop and maintain the core HW architecture work products, e.g., DFMEA, schematic, and floorplan, PVD, EMC test plan
• Collect and disseminate lessons learned from customer projects including design quality issues (verification, PCRs, PORs, NPIs, customer) and integrate solutions into the core platform design as needed and reasonable
• Support the transition of the platform design to customer application project teams
• Collaborate with SCM to ensure that platform implementation delivers annual material cost reduction to target
• Evaluate and bundle cost improvements into executable MCIP packages Owns customer problem troubleshooting and drives corrective action

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in any specialization with an experience of 14-18 years
• Evaluate and minimize platform deviations to core architecture submitted from the customer application project teams
• Coordinate and document building block level ownership of the HW design with advanced engineering, the CoE, and global HW execution team
• Collaborate with System architect and SW to ensure the HW design provides capabilities fitting to SW needs
• Collaborate with System architect and Fu Sa to ensure HW design includes safety mechanisms where needed and if applicable
• Work with manufacturing engineering to ensure the HW design is consistent with the manufacturing Bill Of Process (BOP)
• Serve as the platform peer review board member for all customer projects
• Provide expert technical support to projects and support cross project reviews and look acrossMCIP execution to target
• Coordination of the different engineering disciplines
• Engineering Timing responsible
