YOUR ROLE

As a Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor on our team, you’ll manage, direct, and coordinate activities in a department, groups of operations departments, and support to manufacturing departments.

In your daily job you will:

• Asset for improving operational performance.
• Train, develop, and evaluate employees.
• Provide assistance in analyzing and solving difficult Engineering problems.
• Assistance in obtaining resources to effectively carry out Engineering activities.
• Improvement in productivity
• New technological strategies
• Assistance in planning departments.
• Coordinate activities with subordinate supervisors and assistants who determine their work priorities.
• Contact with others outside the work group.
• Maintain excellent communication with suppliers.
• Interact extensively with ACS, and provide functional support with organizations and other Aptiv sites.
• Plant administration and corporate policies.
• Keep systems control and monitoring managed.
• Use of tools.
• DMS metric support
• Participation in the selection of new employees.
• Notify organizational changes and new entries within your area to the Human Resources department, using the ESNP_5-3_HR-MAT_17-F02_ES form.
• Responsible for promoting, facilitating, and raising awareness of energy-saving programs.
• Responsible for facilitating the participation of your employees in training on the use, consumption, and efficiency of energy.
• Responsible for leading the equipment shutdown program when not in use.
• Responsible for operating through energy conservation activities.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Completed Bachelor's Degree
• +3-4 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or Industrial Engineer.
• Capex budget management
• Core tools
• High interpersonal level to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and technical support staff.
• High analytical level and skill where problems are usual and difficult.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced English
• Experience in basic mechanics, electronics, and statistical concepts
• Leadership ability.
• High level of skill in organization and planning.
