Your Role

You will be working as Fu Sa System Architect/Expert/Senior Engineer for Advance Safety, UX & BCM projects. In particular you will be responsible for:

Lead the development of a System Core Fu Sa Technical Solution to include (but not limited to) the following key information – focusing on scalability and reusability:

Technical Safety Concept and Requirements as SEooC development

Safety analysis as applicable (FTA, DFA, etc..)

Hardware-Software Safety related Interfaces:

Standardized set of SW Safety Mechanisms with high level of reusability

Standardized set HW Safety Mechanisms with high level of reusability

Collaborate with Advanced Engineering teams such Smart Vehicle EE architecture, Compute Systems, SW and HW architecture, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning teams to incorporate latest APTIV technology in the System Core FS Technical Solution Support the assessment of the FS implementation in the Tier-2 supplier components in the GPO product line and capture key interfaces and content in the System Core FS Technical Solution Provide technical guidance and assist in handing over of the System Platform FS Technical Solution information to the Customer projects (including design artifacts such as safety analysis). Take ownership of key safety architecture related work products such as Technical Safety Concept and Requirements (TSC/TSRs), Safety Analysis, HW Elements Evaluation Report and SW Components Evaluation Report Support advanced safety methods and techniques such as SOTIF, STPA, Safe AI/ML, etc.. Support GPO design and Gate Reviews by providing accurate and timely status of the PSA development” Support changes requests, deviation requests and escalation reviews related to the System FS implementation Support developing FS related templates, design guides and training Support management issue tracking and design reviews meetings internally (primarily) and externally Support FS technology awareness at APTIV by attending/presenting at technical conferences and delivering seminars to the APTIV engineers Travel Expectations: up to 5% to support APTIV Engineering Competency and Customers Support the development of a Supplier DIA with selected suppliers of ASIL rated SW and HW components

A graduate in BE/B.Tech/ ME/M.Tech (Electricals/ Electronics/ Instrumentation, Robotics) with work experience of 10-16 years

Having minimum 6-8+ years of Functional Safety hands on System Architecture + development experience.

A go-getter, good in communication, challenge ideas to achieve career aspirations aligned with Aptiv mission

A Learning Enthusiast to be passionate about learning, follow trends and publications in the market outlining new solutions

Your Background Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Essential

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in EE, Automotive Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• 6-8+ years of experience in Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
• Experience in system modeling (SysML/Matlab/Simulink)
• Experience in safety analysis (DFMEA, HARA, FTA)
• 12+ years of experience in system design and development
• Knowledgeable in automotive product development life cycle
• Knowledgeable in requirements management tools
• Demonstrated ability to forge productive relationships, achieve cooperation, and influence priorities
• Strong oral/written communication skills and ability to lead group projects and management reviews.
• Must be pro-active and not one who waits on what to be told to do.
