YOUR ROLE

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, launch, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems and processes. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and support automated workstations, tooling, and equipment that meet quality, safety, and performance requirements. This role requires a strong hands‑on engineering mindset combined with project coordination skills to ensure successful execution of new product introductions, process improvements, and production support within established timelines and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute engineering activities in alignment with EOS (Enterprise Operating System).
• Lead the release, validation, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and tooling.
• Develop, modify, and maintain PLC, HMI, and vision system programs for manufacturing workstations.
• Launch and implement manufacturing systems compliant with BOP, DFM, MSD, Safety, and Ergonomics requirements.
• Ensure compliance with PPAP milestones, documentation, and customer deliverables.
• Design and document standard operating methods and provide setup and adjustment support to Maintenance teams.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment across all manufacturing areas.
• Provide production support and continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Develop scalable manufacturing systems for new products, ensuring required quality, capacity, and performance targets are achieved.

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering within an industrial or automated manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or coordinating engineering projects/programs with cross‑functional teams (Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering).
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical drawing interpretation.
• Experience designing workstations, tooling, fixtures, or equipment using Solid Edge and/or Solid Works.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000).
• Experience with HMI and vision systems (e.g., Cognex) and industrial automation components (e.g., Banner).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
