Your role:

As a Key Account Manager, you will drive profitable growth for Aptiv Connection System at the assigned account. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships while hunting for new business opportunities. The Key account Manager is called to develop and execute account strategies aligned with the Connection System EMEA Sales Strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth and profitability strategies at the accounts in responsibility.

  • Actively pursue opportunities of market share increase at customer.

  • Enable to obtain and close package proposals with accounts.

  • Maximize Customer intimacy at all Departments: Purchasing, Engineering, etc.

  • Lead the Voice of the Customer at Aptiv.

  • Supervise quote process and Sales Assistants under responsibility.

  • Manage all commercial aspects such as sales forecast, pricing, customer approvals for new products, SOP support and cash collection in coordination with internal functions.

  • Support products in production: understand and facilitate quality resolution, service, price profit, technology, responsiveness, and performance issues.

  • Support the department's sales forecast and business plan

  • Work with worldwide Engineering team; communicate technical requirements and trends back to the division and Aptiv technical centers.

  • Survey the market trend to anticipate customer request. Contribute to new technologies proposal and support Engineering team in front of the customer to develop the portfolio product.

Your Background

  • Minimum 10 years experience in the automotive industry, ideally several years with Housing and/or Terminals

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong customer and result orientation

  • Fluent in English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization
