Web Application Developer (Front-End)DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work as a web developer on an Agile team designing and developing our class-leading web-based automotive business intelligence tool.
• Develop React web application UIs.
• Optionally, develop RESTful APIs in Java and/or Go to support web applications and internal microservices.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, success engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on requirements and interfaces.
• Work with users to develop and implement acceptance test plans to ensure that product meets customer requirements and expectations.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Stay current in training of the latest software and computer technology.
• Review work of other developers to ensure quality standards.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

(iR – required, P – preferred, B –bonus)

• R – Professional front-end development experience with React(preferred), TypeScript, and CSS.
• R – Solid grasp of single page applications, React performance concerns, and service-oriented architecture fundamentals.
• P – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar.
• P – 3 years of experience in Web application development.
• P – Familiar with UI design, data visualization, and user experience best practices.
• P – Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• P – Experience with software testing, including Jest or other unit testing frameworks.
• B – Experience writing and maintaining Java backend services.
• B – Experience with asynchronous data management, including Tan Stack Query.
• B – Knowledge of HTTP observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, etc.).
• B – Experience with building Continuous Integration pipelines using GitHub Actions.
