Quality Engineer at Aptiv

• Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the early development of new projects, collecting customer requirements for all aspects of the product;
• Transmit customer requirements to relevant project personnel and provide appropriate training;
• Assess the quality control tools required for the project and provide them on time;
• For replica mold development, collect quality issues from existing molds and provide them to the mold factory for reference;
• Work with the project manager to track project details and monitor timelines at each stage;
• Monitor quality risks in the project and issue timely alerts;
• Lead the analysis, tracking, resolution, and closure of client-side and internal quality issues during project phases;
• Develop and publish quality control documents for new products and train internal personnel on control methods;
• Monitor the completion of the special characteristics list and check its actual implementation;
• Supervise on-site operations and ensure the continuous production of new products;
• After internal PPAP approval, track and obtain client approval for trial assembly verification;
• After mass production, work with product quality to track and handle quality issues of new products for three months;
• Participate in customer audits of the PPAP production process for new projects.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above;

• 3+ years of experience in quality control within the automotive industry;

• Familiarity with QC tools such as PPAP, MSA, SPC, and 8D;

• Excellent English communication and coordination skills;

• Priority will be given to candidates familiar with injection molding quality issues in plastic parts.
